Reading

Wilson Reading System

WRS is reading curriculum designed to teach reading skills to students from 2nd grade through adult who have been unable to learn with other teaching strategies and require multisensory language instruction due to a language-based learning disability, such as struggling in Reading, Writing and Math literacy program based on phonological-coding research and Orton-Gillingham principles that directly and systematically teaches the structure of the English language. Students receive instruction in word structure, word recognition, spelling of high frequency words (including irregular words), vocabulary, fluency, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, and proof-reading and self-monitoring skills.

Barton Reading and Spelling

The Barton Reading and Spelling System is a structured literacy program that is Orton Gillingham influenced. It is a multisensory, explicit, sequential program designed to improve student’s reading, spelling, vocabulary and fluency skills.

Foundations in Sound

Foundations in Sounds improves a child’s auditory discrimination, auditory memory, and auditory sequencing skills necessary to become an efficient reader. Children who have not mastered these skills need to work in FIS before beginning the other evidence-based curriculum.

Just Words

Just Words is a highly explicit, multisensory decoding and spelling program for students in grades 4–12 and adults who have mild to moderate gaps in their decoding and spelling proficiency but do not require intensive intervention.

Math U See

Math skills and concepts are presented in a logical sequence. Lessons focus on demonstrating how and when to apply concepts in real-world scenarios, which give students a deeper understanding. Math-U-See uses a mastery approach, allowing students to build a strong foundation of fundamental concepts and skills before moving on. Concepts build on one another and are applied and reviewed to broaden the student’s mathematical understanding.
